Privacy Policy
Effective date: August 20, 2026
Bellethy (“Bellethy,” “we,” “us,” or “our“) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you visit bellethy.com (the “Site”), what we do with it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. It applies to visitors, customers, and account holders.
1. Who we are
Bellethy is a beauty and wellness e-commerce brand offering curated skincare and beauty products. Our Site is operated from the United States. Our business address and registered legal-entity name are: [REQUIRES BUSINESS INFORMATION].
For any privacy-related question, use the contact details in Section 24 (Contact us).
2. Information we collect
Information you provide directly
- Account information: name, email address, password (stored hashed), and any profile details you add.
- Order information: billing address, shipping address, telephone number, order contents, product variant, and quantity.
- Customer support communications: messages, attachments, and any information you volunteer when you contact us.
- Product reviews: the name, rating, and review text you submit.
- Marketing preferences: the email address you supply when you subscribe to our newsletter, and your subscription status.
Information collected automatically
- Device and connection data: IP address, browser type and version, operating system, referring URL, and general geolocation inferred from IP.
- Site activity: pages viewed, links clicked, time on page, cart contents, and interactions with our newsletter forms.
- Cookies and similar identifiers: see Section 11.
Information from third parties
When enabled, we may receive information from our payment processor (confirmation of a payment, fraud signals, and a truncated card identifier — but not your full card number), from our shipping carriers (tracking and delivery status), and from our fulfillment partner (order and shipment updates). We do not purchase personal data from data brokers.
3. How we use your information
- To create and manage your account.
- To process, fulfill, ship, and confirm your orders, including sending order status emails.
- To share the minimum order details required with our manufacturing and fulfillment partner (see Section 6) so your products can be produced, packed, and shipped.
- To handle returns, refunds, exchanges, and customer support requests.
- To detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents.
- To operate, maintain, and improve the Site, our products, and our services.
- To send transactional emails (order confirmations, shipping notifications, account emails).
- To send marketing communications when you have opted in, and to honor unsubscribe requests.
- To handle product safety and adverse-event reports if you contact us about a reaction to a product.
- To comply with our legal, tax, and regulatory obligations.
4. Legal bases we rely on
Where required by law (for example, for visitors in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom), we rely on: performance of a contract (to process your order and account), legitimate interests (to run and secure the Site, prevent fraud, and improve our products), consent (for marketing emails and non-essential cookies), and legal obligation (to keep tax and accounting records).
5. How we share your information
We do not sell your personal information for money. We share personal information only with the categories of recipients described below, and only to the extent necessary:
- Service providers that host the Site, run our storefront, deliver our emails, cache and secure our pages, and back up our data.
- Manufacturing and fulfillment partners (see Section 6).
- Payment processors when you check out (see Section 7).
- Shipping carriers so your order can be delivered (see Section 8).
- Professional advisors such as our accountants or lawyers, where necessary.
- Authorities and third parties when we are required by law, subpoena, or valid legal process, or where necessary to protect our rights, users, or the public (see Section 22).
- Successors in the context of a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets (see Section 21).
6. Manufacturing and fulfillment partners
Bellethy currently uses a third-party manufacturing, private-labeling, warehousing and fulfillment partner — Blanka (blankabrand.com) — to produce our products and ship them to you. When you place an order, we share the order information required for that partner to manufacture, pack and ship your products, which typically includes:
- Your name.
- Shipping address.
- Telephone number (when the carrier requires it for delivery).
- Order contents, product variant, and quantity.
- Order and reference numbers.
We do not share your payment card details, account password, or browsing behavior with our fulfillment partner. Our fulfillment partner is contractually required to use your information only to fulfill your order and to protect it in line with applicable law and its own privacy policy.
7. Payment processors
When online payments are enabled on the Site, we use one or more third-party payment processors to accept your payment. When you pay, your payment card details are submitted directly to the payment processor, not to Bellethy; we receive only a confirmation of the transaction, a truncated card identifier (such as the last four digits), and any fraud signals the processor returns. Each processor is a data controller for the payment data it collects and processes according to its own privacy policy.
8. Shipping carriers
To deliver your order, we or our fulfillment partner share the shipping address, recipient name, and (where required) telephone number with the shipping carrier selected for your order. The carrier processes that information to deliver the shipment and to provide tracking updates.
9. Analytics
Our Site has the Google Site Kit plugin installed to enable connections to Google services such as Search Console and Analytics. As of the effective date above, no Google Analytics or Search Console module is actively configured to send data from this Site to Google. If we later enable Google Analytics or an equivalent tool, we will update this Section and, where legally required, request your consent before non-essential analytics cookies are set.
10. Advertising and tracking
We do not currently run advertising pixels (such as Meta Pixel, TikTok Pixel, Google Ads conversion tags or similar) on the Site. If we enable such technologies in the future, we will update this Section and, where legally required, obtain your consent before setting non-essential tracking cookies.
11. Cookies and similar technologies
Cookies are small files stored on your device that let websites remember you between page loads. We use cookies for the following purposes:
- Strictly necessary cookies — set by WordPress and WooCommerce so you can log in, keep items in your cart, and complete checkout (for example,
woocommerce_cart_hash,woocommerce_items_in_cart,wp_woocommerce_session_*). - Performance / caching cookies — set by our caching layer (LiteSpeed Cache) to deliver pages faster.
- Preferences — to remember settings such as your logged-in status.
You can control cookies through your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may break the login, cart, and checkout flows.
12. Email marketing
When you subscribe to our newsletter (for example, through the “Stay in the Glow” form on our home page), we collect your email address and use our on-Site email tool (currently Hostinger Reach) to send you marketing messages such as new arrivals, offers, and beauty tips. Every marketing email includes a one-click unsubscribe link. You can also request removal at any time using the contact details in Section 24. Transactional emails about your account or orders are not marketing and will continue to be sent while your account or order is active.
13. SMS marketing
Bellethy does not currently send marketing text messages. If we launch SMS marketing in the future, we will only send messages to phone numbers that have opted in, will disclose message-and-data-rates, and will support standard STOP / HELP replies.
14. Data retention
We keep personal information for as long as we need it for the purpose we collected it, plus a reasonable period to meet our legal, tax, and accounting obligations. As a general rule:
- Order records: retained for the period required by U.S. tax and consumer-protection law (typically at least seven years).
- Account information: retained while your account is active; deleted or anonymized on request unless we are required to keep it.
- Marketing subscribers: retained until you unsubscribe, plus a short period to record the opt-out.
- Support tickets: retained as long as reasonably necessary to handle your issue and detect abuse.
- Server logs and security data: retained for a short rolling window.
15. Data security
We use commercially reasonable safeguards to protect your information, including encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS), hashed passwords, access controls, and limiting access to personal information to those who need it to do their jobs. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.
16. Children’s privacy
Bellethy is not directed to children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
17. U.S. state privacy rights
Depending on where you live, U.S. state privacy laws (for example, in Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Texas, Oregon, Montana, Iowa, Delaware, and others) may give you the right to: (a) know what personal information we hold about you, (b) request correction of inaccurate information, (c) request deletion of your information, (d) obtain a portable copy of your information, and (e) opt out of the sale of personal information or of targeted advertising. Bellethy does not sell personal information for money and does not currently run targeted advertising. To exercise these rights, follow Section 19 (How to exercise your rights).
18. California residents (CCPA / CPRA)
If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the CPRA, gives you the right to: (a) know the categories and specific pieces of personal information we collect about you, (b) know the sources and business purposes for collection, (c) know the categories of third parties with whom we share it, (d) request correction of inaccurate information, (e) request deletion of your information, (f) opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information, and (g) not be discriminated against for exercising your rights. Bellethy does not sell personal information for money. Where our sharing of information for advertising could be considered “sharing” under California law, we will honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) browser signal as an opt-out request. To exercise your California rights, follow Section 19.
19. How to exercise your rights
To submit a request for access, correction, deletion, or portability, or to opt out where the law gives you that right, email us at info@bellethy.com from the email address associated with your Bellethy account, or use the contact details in Section 24. We will verify your identity before acting on your request (usually by confirming information already associated with your account) and will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law. An authorized agent may submit a request on your behalf; we will ask for reasonable proof of authorization.
20. International visitors
Bellethy is based in the United States, and our Site and databases are hosted in the United States. If you access the Site from outside the U.S., you understand that your information will be transferred to and processed in the U.S., where privacy laws may differ from those in your country. Where required, we rely on appropriate transfer mechanisms.
21. Business transfers
If Bellethy is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, bankruptcy, or sale of all or part of its assets, your personal information may be transferred to the successor or acquiring party as part of that transaction. We will require the receiving party to honor this Privacy Policy or notify you of any material change.
22. Legal disclosure
We may disclose personal information if we believe in good faith that disclosure is required to comply with a law, regulation, subpoena, court order, or other valid legal process; to enforce our Terms of Service; to protect the rights, property, or safety of Bellethy, our customers, or others; or to detect, prevent, or investigate fraud or security issues.
23. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make changes, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Material changes will be highlighted on the Site or communicated by email where appropriate. Your continued use of the Site after an update takes effect means you accept the revised Policy.
