Product Safety & Cosmetic Disclaimer
Effective date: August 20, 2026
Your safety matters to us. This page shares simple, practical information to help you enjoy Bellethy products with confidence. It is written to be clear and reassuring, not to hide behind fine print. Please take a moment to read it, and always follow the directions and warnings printed on each product.
1. Cosmetic purpose
Unless a specific product is expressly and lawfully identified otherwise, Bellethy products are cosmetics intended for cosmetic use — to cleanse, beautify, and support the look and feel of your skin and hair. They are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, mitigate, or prevent any disease or medical condition.
2. Results vary
Everyone is different. Skin types, hair types, and individual responses vary from person to person, so your experience may differ from someone else’s. Reviews, testimonials, and photos shared by others describe individual experiences and are not a promise that you will see the same results.
3. Know your ingredients
Please review a product’s ingredient list before using it. Ingredient information is provided on our product pages and on the physical packaging, as applicable. If you are unsure whether a product is right for you, check the ingredients first.
4. Allergies and sensitivity
Do not use a product that contains an ingredient you know you are allergic to. If you have known allergies or sensitivities, read the ingredient list carefully and, if you are unsure, speak with a qualified healthcare professional before use.
5. Patch testing
Where appropriate and consistent with the product’s directions, we recommend a simple patch test before first use: apply a small amount to a small area of skin, wait as directed, and check for any reaction before applying more widely. Always follow the specific directions on the product.
6. Following the product label
Please use each product only as directed on its label, including any “for external use only” or similar instructions. The manufacturer’s label is the authority on how to use the product safely — follow it, and do not use a product in a way the label does not intend.
7. Eye-contact care
Unless a product is specifically intended for use around the eyes, avoid direct eye contact. If a product gets into your eyes, rinse thoroughly with water, and follow any specific guidance on the product label. Seek medical attention if irritation persists.
8. When to stop use
If you experience significant irritation, discomfort, or an unexpected reaction, stop using the product. Give your skin time to settle, and consider whether an ingredient may not suit you.
9. Seeking medical attention
If you experience a serious reaction, injury, or any symptom that concerns you, please seek care from a qualified healthcare professional. If a situation is urgent or an emergency, contact your local emergency services right away.
10. Pregnancy, nursing, and medical conditions
If you are pregnant, nursing, taking medication, or managing a medical condition and have any concerns about using a particular ingredient, please consult an appropriate qualified healthcare professional before use. They can advise you based on your individual circumstances.
11. No medical advice
Information on the Bellethy website is general in nature and is not personalized professional medical advice. It is not a substitute for guidance from a qualified healthcare professional who knows your individual situation.
12. The physical label comes first
Always read the information printed on the physical product, which is the most authoritative source for that item. In particular, check the:
- Ingredient list;
- Directions for use;
- Warnings and cautions;
- Net quantity;
- Lot or batch information.
If anything on the physical label differs from information shown online, follow the physical label and contact us with any questions.
13. Reporting a reaction or safety concern
If you experience significant irritation, an injury, a serious adverse event, or an unexpected health-related problem you believe may be connected to a Bellethy product, please tell us so we can look into it and support our product-safety process. When you contact us, it helps to include:
- The product name;
- Your order number;
- The lot or batch number (from the packaging);
- The date(s) you used the product;
- A description of what happened;
- Photos, where they help;
- Information about any medical treatment — only if you choose to share it and it is appropriate.
You are never required to share medical details you would rather keep private. Reporting a concern helps us and, where relevant, our manufacturing partners respond appropriately.
14. Preserving a product for a serious complaint
For a serious complaint, if you are able to, please keep the following until your concern is resolved, as they help any investigation:
- The product itself and any remaining contents;
- The container;
- The packaging;
- The lot or batch code.
15. A note on “FDA approved”
In the United States, cosmetics are generally not individually “FDA approved” in the way consumers sometimes assume. Bellethy does not claim that its cosmetic products are FDA approved. We aim to keep our product descriptions accurate and appropriate, and to describe cosmetic benefits (such as appearance, hydration, and feel) rather than medical outcomes.
16. Contact
To report a product-safety concern or ask a question, please contact us and include your order number and, where possible, the product’s lot or batch number:
- Email: info@bellethy.com (a dedicated product-safety inbox such as safety@bellethy.com is recommended — [CREATE OR CONFIRM PRODUCT SAFETY EMAIL])
We take product-safety reports seriously and will respond as promptly as we reasonably can.
